Set your DVRs, folks! Season 6 of "The $100,000 Pyramid" is on the horizon!
On April 7, the show announced on Twitter that they would be dropping Season 6 in summer 2022. "We're heading back to the Winner's Circle because The #100KPyramid is returning for Season 6! Tune in July 10 on ABC and Stream on Hulu!," the revelatory tweet read along with a video of host Michael Strahan dancing. While fans were probably delighted to hear the good news, it still might have come as a bit of a surprise. Per TV Series Finale, viewership for Season 5 waned, averaging a 0.48 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.49 million viewers. That's down a whopping 30% in the demo and 21% in live and same-day ratings in comparison to Season 4.
Still, Strahan is adamant that the secret to the show's success lies in its ability to provide good old-fashioned fun. "Laughter, excitement, a lot of money going out the door, but you know, to people who deserve it, and just fun. Fun! That's what this show is all about," Strahan told ABC7.
